Youth Group: 30 Hour Famine

The Youth at Countryside Bible Chapel will be taking part in a 30 Hour Famine, in an effort to raise money for starving children around the world. The 30 Hour Famine is being done through World Vision, a Christian humanitarian organization dedicated to working with children, families and their communities worldwide to reach their full potential by tackling the causes of poverty and injustice.

The teens will go without food from lunch on Friday, February 22nd to dinner on February 23rd. Then there will be a big meal to break the famine.

Last year Countryside Bible Chapel raised over $4,000 doing the 30 Hour Famine, and will try to raise even more this year. For every dollar raised it feeds 1 Child for 1 Day, so for $360 it feeds a child for a Whole Year!!
